We are pleased to welcome you to the official blog of The Needy Initiative of Coastal Delta (ASPD Nigeria). This blog is created to share our mission, activities, and impact as we work to empower individuals and communities across the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

ASPD Nigeria is a non-governmental organization dedicated to reducing poverty through vocational training, organic agriculture, and community development programs. We believe that when people are given practical skills and opportunities, they can build sustainable livelihoods and transform their communities.

Our Vocational Training Center

Our training center currently serves 80 trainees, divided into morning and afternoon sessions. These trainees are learning valuable skills in:
• Organic farming
• Tailoring and fashion design
• Computer literacy
• Other vocational programs

Our goal is to equip young people and adults with skills that lead to self-reliance and economic independence.

Promoting Organic Farming

One of our key focus areas is organic agriculture. We promote environmentally friendly farming practices that:
• Improve food security
• Protect soil and water
• Create income opportunities for rural farmers

Soon, we will be organizing a community lecture on organic farming in Delta State, and details will be shared here on our blog.
